Below are online projects created circa. 2002-2003. Domains might no longer exist, however the content is archived forever.

RememberingWalterOng.com and RememberingNeilPostman.com

The Remembering Walter Ong site served as an example of how a website can be used to promote the published work of authors and scholars who boast large bodies of work. It listed the author's work and had audio content, and created an ongoing sense of interest in an author's ideas for students and researchers. It also included an email sign-up list for those who wished to be notified when new information was posted.

These two 'Remembering' weblogs were ongoing explorations of and tributes to media theorists who had recently passed, and whose contributions to the field of communications crossed disciplines to the fields of anthropology, linguistics and education. They featured sound files of important lectures and key interviews, as well as written tributes by members of the Media Ecology Association, a group which Walter Ong and Neil Postman both helped influence.

Both websites earned a certificate of recognition and mention at the awards ceremony at the most recent annual conference of the Media Ecology Association in Rochester, NW.

Walnut Street Veterinary Clinic

Walnut Street Veterinary Clinic's website was a simple web presence for a local business which the user will find through a Google search.

Northwest Media Literacy Center

The Northwest Media Literacy Center weblog was created as an online presence for a Portland, OR non-profit seeking to expand its visibility to educators and health professionals. Used mainly as an introduction and bulletin board for upcoming events, it expanded into a fundraising tool, registration form, and email listserv sign-up.
